Terms of Service

1. The service

upload.pk lets an account owner create request links that anyone can use to upload files without an account (RECEIVE), and share files with others through a download link or QR code (SEND). Files are kept at full quality and are deleted automatically when the period set for them ends.

We may change, add or remove features. If a change removes something your paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance by email.

2. Your account

• You sign in with a link sent to your email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to hold an account.
• The details you give us (name, business name, email, WhatsApp number) must be accurate. Your business name is shown to people who upload to your links.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account and for the links you create and share.

3. Files and your responsibilities

You keep all rights to the files you and your uploaders store on upload.pk. You allow us to store, copy, scan and transmit them only as needed to run the service for you.

When you ask people to upload documents such as a CNIC, salary slip, bank statement or photo, you are the party collecting that information. You must have a lawful reason to collect it, use it only for that reason, and keep it private. We act on your instructions for those files.

Files up to 1 GB each are checked automatically for malware. A file that fails the check is blocked and cannot be downloaded. Larger files are not scanned, so open files from people you do not know with care.

4. Automatic deletion

Every file has an expiry date. When it passes, the file is removed from your account and permanently deleted 7 days later. You can download or extend files before they expire, within your plan's limits. We send a reminder 2 days before files expire where the retention period allows.

upload.pk is a collection and sharing tool, not a backup service. Keep your own copies of anything you need after the expiry date.

5. Plans and payment

• Prices are shown in Pakistani rupees (PKR) on the pricing page and are charged in advance for one month or one year.
• Payments are processed by PayFast (cards, bank accounts and mobile wallets). We do not see or store your card number.
• Paid plans do not renew automatically. Before your period ends we send an invoice and reminders. If it is still unpaid 7 days after the period ends, your account moves to the Free plan.
• Moving to a lower plan or to Free never deletes existing files or links: links above the Free limits are paused, and files keep their expiry dates.
• An upgrade takes effect as soon as it is paid, with credit for the unused part of your current period. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current period.

Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use and takedowns

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may disable a link, block a file or suspend an account that breaks it, including without notice where the law or the safety of others requires it. Anyone can report a link at upload.pk/report or by writing to abuse@upload.pk.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep upload.pk available and your files safe, but we provide the service as it is and cannot promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law of Pakistan that cannot be limited by agreement.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Your links close at once and your files are deleted within 7 days. We keep payment records for as long as the law requires.

We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you time to download your files.

9. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms in a way that matters, we update the date above and email account owners before the change takes effect. The version you accepted when you signed up is recorded with the time you accepted it. If you keep using upload.pk after a change takes effect, the new version applies; if you do not agree, you can delete your account in Settings.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
